The Richie Norton Show

Mar 10, 2020

Richie walks you through an aftercast from the Brief Grief lessons where he describes how he works through the stages of grief. He recently participated in a paddle-out for his 8 years old best friend Grif Pierce who passed last week. The North Shore community came to celebrate the life of Grif including Jack Johnson singing and sharing positive vibes. The Pierce family are Richie's heroes and the whole experience was pure magic. Richie dives into a more academic understanding of grief by talking through the KÜBLER-ROSS Model of the five stages of grief. Also, in his classic counterintuitive way, Richie also draws from business school and discusses Tuckman's stages of group development. Melding various schools of thought and experience, this podcast will help you understand where you are and how to make better decisions in the midst of hardship and grief.
